The Middle Counter

At the middle counter you can buy all the baked items in the store, along with cookies, sandwiches, and drinks. Keep an eye out for specials… here is how that works. In many Asian stores if you see it you can buy it. You can always ask to see when something is going to be available. The fresh bread tins go fast. But they are replenished fast. When locals buy fresh bread they want it to be minutes old. Literally. So when you see the fresh bread at the middle counter it is steaming hot and chances are - right out of the oven.
