Looking South on Christie near the pay parking lot

Here we are on the west side of Christie street looking south. If you look closely you can see the sign for the parking garage. It’s about 20 bucks for all day valet parking and worth every penny. Parking on the street is always a hassle - I did it for 20 years I should know.

Close to the Century Cafe

We are headed south on the wast side of the street getting close to the Century Cafe.

Christie Street South

Looking east at the intersection of Christie and Grand. The subway station and park are in the back of this photo. There is another subway station entrance on the west side of Christie on Grand.

Front Door of the Century

There is a guy waiting here for the next bus to Boston just South on Bowery. It’s quiet on Sunday mornings here.

Bowery Street West

This family sells a mixed bag of stuff in addition to the clothing. Including vegetables and toys and scholl supplies.

Clothing Sellers on Bowery

Some of the shop owners hang their clothing wares out over the street. This is kind of Asia styled but it is also NY style. Which came first here is like the proverb about the chicken and the thousand year old egg.
