Corner of Grand and Bowery

Here we are looking North… the Empire State Building is barely visible in the photo through the early morning summer haze. This is not the LA like air pollution or the severe air quality of Bejing… it is normal summer haze created by 80 degree temperatures, 80% humidity, and lots of deciduous vegetation nearby. This is a very busy corner normally and there is a fantastic noodle shop right there. We buy fried bread there and large freshly made noodles there.

    Bowery Street is wide enough to be called a boulevard.
