Kids LOVE the hot dog buns !!

July 4, 2008 · Print This Article

These things are neat and the kids just love them. A hot dog baked in a bun. Adults like me eat them too but when you have a very young child that is hard to feed, try one! The hot dog buns are also good because they don’t make a mess when youngsters are eating.

I have loved those since I was a kid in Hong Kong. Try them. Americans usually put catsup or mustard on hotdogs but these do not need extras.

Hi Christine – Tommy Lau is ready to let us all have the recipes BUT I have not had the time to even think about putting them up here. I will find out how he makes the hot dog buns and put that one up here for you and me both. My kids still go for them first and they are 9 and 10 years old.

Hi! I really missed those hot dog buns, and tried making them with the American recipe for bread rolls today… but it didn’t turn out as fluffy and nice as I would have liked it! Those in the picture up there look REALLY good! Is it possible to share the recipe with me via email pretty please??? Homesick!

I would love that recipe too. I’ve been searching for years for a recipe like the one mentioned by everyone. I hope to see it posed here soon, although since the orignal pos was in 2008 I don’t know, but I can hope.

Got something to say?
